Kamakura

Here are some pictures from Kamakura, which is this lovely seaside town about two hours from here. The town is most famous for it's big Buddha. Everyone visits there, including pre-school groups. Also, because of the size of the Buddha (easily distorted when looking through the camera) and my desire to avoid tons of people in my pictures, some of these pictures are slightly tilted.
Also, my mom left today. Despite my trip to Kamakura, I have not yet mastered the Buddhist "no attachements" approach to life, as I miss Dr.P already.

I'm sure Dr. P feels the same way. It's obvious you were wonderful hosts! MD
