Thankfully, it seems that our friends in Tsukuba, Tokyo, and the surrounding areas are all okay thus far.
One of our friends, who has family in Sendai (one of the worst hit cities), has let us know that her family is also safe. The pictures coming out of Sendai are just devastating, and I'm sure that there will be more heartbreaking images and stories in the days to come.
